Raquel Rodriguez current position with Lallemand Biofuels & Distilled Spirits (LBDS) is Technical Services Manager-C5 specialist, where she provides technical support to customers engaged in cellulosic fuel ethanol projects globally, as well as first-generation US customers in the Midwest. Before joining LBDS in 2016, Raquel worked at Abengoa Bioenergy Biomass of Kansas, focusing on the scale-up and optimization of bio-cellulosic processes. She holds a B.Sc. in Biology, an M.Sc. in Food Biotechnology, and a Ph.D. in cellulolytic enzyme production from the University of León (Spain). Raquel has over 15 years of experience in the cellulosic ethanol production field.
