Graduated in Chemical Engineering from UNICAMP, with an MBA in Business Management from FGV and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioenergy at USP. With over 40 years of experience, he has worked in the fields of Production and Agro-industrial Management, planning, and Innovation for the entire value chain of the sugar-energy sector. He was responsible for the initial implementation of projects to increase energy efficiency, cellulosic ethanol from bagasse, and biogas from vinasse. He held executive roles at Tereos/Guarani, Cosan, and Raízen until 2017. Currently, he works as a consultant at Raízen.
